80 Yıldır Yarınlardayız runs 3 June to 30 September 2026 at Salt Galata, built on more than 36,000 catalogued physical items and some 255,000 digital records.
The exhibition 80 Yıldır Yarınlardayız (We Have Been in Tomorrows for 80 Years) opened on 3 June 2026 at Salt Galata, Bankalar Caddesi 11 in Karaköy, and closes on 30 September. It sets the eighty-year history of Garanti BBVA, founded in 1946, alongside Turkey's economic, social, cultural and technological change — shown, fittingly, in a building originally constructed as a bank.
The exhibition rests on an archival project Salt began in April 2023, cataloguing more than 36,000 physical items and inventorying roughly 255,000 digital documents. Exhibition design is by PATTU (Cem Kozar, Işıl Ünal Kozar), digital experience by NOHLAB, sound by Gökalp Kanatsız and data analysis by Pelin Erman and Özge Tunalı. Visitors reach the archive through touchscreens, using data visualisation and algorithmic tools. The usual risk with corporate history shows is a curated self-portrait; here the search interface matters more than the selection.
