Adoratorio Rebrands Indice as Soft and Technical
Adoratorio Studio's new identity for eyewear brand Indice tries to hold two languages at once: engineering precision and the softness of something worn on the face.

Adoratorio Studio has rebranded the eyewear label Indice around a brief that sounds contradictory: soft but technical. In optics those registers usually cancel each other. Technical branding leans on tolerance, measurement and engineering; soft branding leans on skin, comfort and touch. Most brands pick one and quietly drop the other.
Eyewear sits in an odd category. It is a medical device and a garment at the same time, built to millimetre tolerances and worn on the face all day. Adoratorio's solution appears to keep the technical argument at the structural level — grid, proportion, restraint — while letting material and tone carry the softness. That split matters most in product photography, where eyewear images tend to collapse into either sterile lab shots or fashion frames that lose the object. A system that holds both can show the hinge detail and the wearer in the same frame.
