Alexander McQueen Bids Paris 'Adieu' to Return to London Fashion Week

Alexander McQueen is bidding farewell to Paris, where it has staged its runway shows for years, and returning to London Fashion Week for the spring 2027 season. According to WWD, the house will present its collection on Sept. 20, 2026. Wallpaper reported that the show will take place at the historic Lincoln's Inn, one of the four barristers' Inns in central London.

For creative director Seán McGirr, who has led McQueen since 2023, it will be his first time showing the house's collection in London. McGirr said London has always been at the heart of McQueen, adding that the city carries a uniquely visceral energy that runs through the house's history and continues to inspire its work today.

McQueen CEO Gianfranco D'Attis called the return to London Fashion Week a meaningful moment for the house, noting that London is where its story began and remains central to its identity. British Fashion Council CEO Laura Weir described the move as the realization of one of her earliest ambitions since becoming CEO — seeing Alexander McQueen return home to London Fashion Week.

The announcement lands within an expanding London Fashion Week S/S 2027 schedule; per Wallpaper, the lineup includes 47 catwalk shows and 23 presentations, staged under the banner "a celebration of London fashion."
