Frieze returns to Regent's Park on 14-18 October

Frieze London and Frieze Masters run from 14 to 18 October 2026 in Regent's Park. The 23rd edition of Frieze London has 172 galleries, up from 166 last year, while Frieze Masters reaches 140 participants in its 14th year, up from 120 in 2025, for a combined 312 stands. A new curated section, The Code Universe, addresses image saturation and information overload; Artist-to-Artist and Focus continue, and Frieze Masters foregrounds a Queering Modernism strand.

First-time exhibitors include Amanda Wilkinson, Sargent's Daughters, VeneKlasen, Bolanle Contemporary, Alice Amati, 243 Luz and TINA. The absences are just as telling: Almine Rech, James Cohan, Sean Kelly, Gathering and Kurimanzutto have skipped Frieze London, while Pace, Frith Street and Mazzoleni sat out Masters. The headcount is growing at the emerging end of the market rather than the top, which is the more interesting story about London's October week.
