Art Basel Miami Beach opens to the public on 4 December

Art Basel Miami Beach holds invitation-only private days on 2 and 3 December 2026, followed by public days from 4 to 6 December, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive, about twelve miles from the airport. Access on the private days is tiered, with First Choice and Preview sessions. The sector structure is unchanged: Galleries, Nova, Positions, Survey, Kabinett, Meridians, Zero 10 and the Conversations talks programme.

For scale, the 2025 edition gathered 283 galleries from 43 countries and territories and counted more than 85,000 visitors. As of late July the 2026 exhibitor list, floor plan and detailed programme were still unpublished. What complicates any reading of those numbers is the week around the fair: more than twenty satellite fairs and over 1,200 galleries compress into the same days across the city, so Miami Art Week describes a pile-up in the calendar rather than a single event.
