Première Vision gathered its Autumn-Winter 27-28 season under the title Living Matter. In the fair's own wording the subtitle runs: towards creation reconnected with life. The displacement the season proposes is simple but its consequences are not, because material stops being something chosen at the end of a design process and becomes the place where the process begins.

The fair's statement puts it this way: “LIVING MATTER is putting materials back at the core of creative approaches.” Three creative scenarios read that core from three directions.

Matter of Time rests on time, memory and the reactivation of craftsmanship. By the fair's definition the scenario explores the emotional and creative value of what resists contemporary immediacy: classical references, complex savoir-faire and altered beauties. The same text says where value has moved: “Value no longer lies merely in flawless execution, but in objects conveying human presence.”

Matter of Ease looks at invisible technology and a renewed focus on people. Wild Matter takes living systems as a model for both aesthetics and innovation, in the fair's phrase an organic, shifting and undisciplined materiality. The principles this scenario engages with are growth, transformation, adaptation and regeneration.

The season's colour range runs to twenty-seven shades. The first colour reading, published in May 2026, settles on purples and greyed mid-tones; among the shades named are Dusky Violet, Purple Code and Essence Mauve, described alongside pale mauve, deep plums, rich ochres, waxy yellows, washed lilac and smoky tones.

The second colour reading, from June 2026, connects directly to Wild Matter and turns living materiality into colour: two shades named Algae Gel and Mycelium Beige, with sage green, dark greens and algae green beside them. Béatrice Hugues of the Première Vision fashion team describes the family this way: “Earthy greens, pigmented greys and shades inspired by living systems are composing a fertile chromatic landscape.”

The season's seminars were presented by Ariane Bigot, Laetitia Berthier, Béatrice Hugues and Gaëlle Berlioz of the Première Vision fashion team.
