Northern Clay Center Hosts 28th American Pottery Festival in Minneapolis

The 28th annual American Pottery Festival, organized by Northern Clay Center, took place August 28-30, 2026 at the Main and Galusha Galleries in Minneapolis. The event was held at the center's location on 2424 Franklin Avenue East.
Northern Clay Center describes the festival as its biggest annual event. This year's lineup featured 15 ceramic artists: Sara Alfieri, Kurt Anderson, Marissa Childers, Sandra Daulton Shaughnessy, Celia Feldberg, Stephen Heywood, Erica Iman, Samuel Johnson, Steven Young Lee, Suze Lindsay, Andrew McIntyre, Taylor Mezo, KyoungHwa Oh, Doug Peltzman, and Lindsay Rogers.
Proceedings opened with a Friday evening reception on August 28. The following day, an online 'Work Live' session streamed at 10 am CT on Saturday, August 29, giving remote audiences a look at artists at work.
Throughout the weekend, artist talks, workshops, demonstrations, and gallery chats were offered, giving attendees direct opportunities to engage with the participating ceramicists.
